Experience
My nonprofit career began in 2003, when I went to work as a holiday gift processing assistant for the College of Engineering at my alma mater, UC Berkeley. I was so excited to be back on campus!
Over the next 13 years, I applied what I learned and advanced to Director-level roles at UCSF and Save The Bay. My efforts produced gifts from individuals and foundations up to $300,000, and I contributed to solicitations up to $2,000,000.
These work experiences instilled in me a broad and deep understanding of organizational structures, cultures and leadership, as well as best fundraising practices and the importance of volunteer roles across the nonprofit sector.
